Albright College Field Hockey

Catherine Wiese (Ostoich) enters her fourth season at the helm of the Lions field hockey team. She brings instant success to the Albright field hockey program, winning their first playoff game in over 50 years in her first season, with a 1-0 victory over Widener. In each of her first three seasons, she has placed at least one student-athlete on an All-Conference team. She previously served as head coach at Central Michigan University for four seasons, where she led the Chippewas to their most wins since 2014 in the 2021 spring season and coached 42 Academic All MAC team members. Prior to Central Michigan, she was head coach at Missouri State University and an assistant coach at Indiana University and Davidson College. Originally from West Chester, PA, Wiese was a four-year starter at the University of Richmond, including her senior season as co-captain, and was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Tournament team in 2009 and 2011. She was a two-year starter at Villa Maria Academy, where she was named honorable mention All-State as a senior.
