Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using CommitPath ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are a minor (under 18), your parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

Description of Service

CommitPath is a college athletic recruiting platform that helps student athletes find best-fit college programs, access coaching staff contact information, and send AI-personalized outreach emails. The Service is available as an iOS mobile application and a companion website.

Accounts and Family Plans

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• Parent/guardian accounts can manage multiple athlete profiles under a single family subscription
• Each person should have only one account

Subscriptions and Payments

• CommitPath offers free and paid subscription tiers through the Apple App Store
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through your Apple ID
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Family pricing: one subscription covers all athletes in the family
• Refunds are handled through Apple according to their refund policies

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Send spam, harassment, or misleading content to coaches through our platform
• Misrepresent your athletic or academic credentials
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute coach contact information obtained through the Service
• Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate college recruiting outreach
• Share your account credentials with others outside your family plan
• Attempt to circumvent subscription tier limits or feature gates

AI-Generated Content

CommitPath uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate personalized outreach messages. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated messages before sending them. AI-generated content may contain errors and should not be sent without review. You are solely responsible for all messages sent from your email account.

Gmail Integration

When you connect your Gmail account, emails are sent directly from your personal Gmail account. CommitPath acts as a composition tool — you authorize and send each message. You are responsible for complying with Google's terms of service and email sending policies.

Coach Data

Coach contact information is collected from publicly available sources (college athletics websites). We make reasonable efforts to keep this data accurate, but we do not guarantee that all contact information is current or correct. Coaches may change positions, retire, or update their contact information at any time.

No Guarantee of Recruiting Outcomes

CommitPath provides tools and information to assist with the recruiting process. We do not guarantee any specific outcome including: coach responses, scholarship offers, admissions decisions, or roster spots. Recruiting success depends on many factors outside our control.

Intellectual Property

The CommitPath name, logo, and software are proprietary. School logos, names, and branding displayed in the app are the property of their respective institutions and are used for identification purposes only.

Limitation of Liability

CommitPath is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: missed recruiting opportunities, incorrect coach information, or email delivery failures.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to paid features will end at the close of your current billing period.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
