Bethel University Men's Track & Field

Andrew Rock, an Olympic gold medalist, enters his 11th season at the helm of the Bethel track and field program leading the Royals to be known as a national brand. Rock was named the head coach in the fall of 2012 before being elevated to Director of Track & Field and Cross Country in the fall of 2022. As an Adidas professional runner from 2004-2010, Rock won a Gold medal as part of the USA 4x400m relay team at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, and was a 2005 World Championships 4x400m Relay gold medalist. He was ranked No. 2 in the United States and No. 3 in the World at 400m in 2005, and was the 2006 United States Outdoor 400m champion. Rock attended UW-La Crosse where he was a 9-time NCAA Division III champion and 17-time All-American, holding nine school records and six WIAC records.

Kevin Rengo enters his fifth season as an assistant track & field coach since joining the program in the fall of 2017. With the track & field program, he oversees the jumps, hurdles and multi events. Rengo was named the head coach for cross country on July 27, 2022. He holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from Wisconsin-River Falls (2011) and a Masters of Education in Applied Kinesiology from University of Minnesota (2014). As a student-athlete, he was a three-year captain in track & field at UW-River Falls, qualified for the WIAC Championships in the pentathlon, decathlon and javelin, and was a 2011 WIAC Scholar-Athlete nominee. He won the 2010 Earl Blodgett Award and lettered in both cross country and track & field for four years.
