Jonathan DiBiaso

Biography

Jonathan DiBiaso enters his third season as the Matt and Rebecca Carroll Family Quarterbacks Coach after being promoted by head coach Bill O’Brien in 2024. He spent the 2023 season as an offensive analyst, working closely with the BC quarterbacks. DiBiaso commanded an Eagles passing attack that finished sixteenth nationally in total passing offense in 2025, averaging 280.4 yards per game. In 10 games with nine starts at quarterback in his first full season, redshirt sophomore Dylan Lonergan registered 190 completions, moving him inside the top-10 in single-season completions in school history. Lonergan threw for over 2,000 yards and 12 touchdowns in his first season at Boston College. Redshirt senior Grayson James appeared in seven games with three starts at quarterback, throwing for over 1,100 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2024, under DiBiaso’s mentorship, QB Tommy Castellanos completed 288-of-491 passes for 3,614 yards and 33 passing touchdowns. On the ground, he added 1,307 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, becoming the first player in Boston College history with 2,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season. DiBiaso oversaw QB Grayson James become the starter for the final four games of the season, where he completed 106-of-166 passes for 1,202 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. With DiBiaso’s assistance, Castellanos finished with the second-most rushing yards by an FBS quarterback (1,113), trailing only Heisman Winner Jayden Daniels. Castellano
