Bruno Darzi is entering his first season as a part of Dara Torres' coaching staff at Boston College. Darzi comes to the Heights after nearly three decades of coaching at the college, junior, senior, international, and Olympic levels. “I’m incredibly honored and excited to have Bruno join our program as associate head coach," Torres said. "He has over 25 years experience - 15 as a head coach - and I trained with Bruno for my sixth and final Olympic Trials. There’s no way I would have accomplished what I did at 45 years old without his coaching and guidance. We both can’t wait to get the season going with this great group of Eagles' swimmers.” In addition to working with Torres - a five-time Olympian - Darzi coached three-time Olympians Vlad Polyakov (Kazakhstan) and Arlene Semeco (Venezuela) and has vast international experience, serving as Uruguay's coach at the 2019 Pan American Games and World Junior Swimming championships. Prior to arriving at Boston College, Darzi was the Coach Director with USA Swimming's Southern Zone, which is comprised of 15 separate local swim committees (LSC) across nine states. In addition, Darzi served as the General Chair for Florida Gold Coast Swimming and was a member of its board since 2014. He is also a member of the LSC Development Committee with USA Swimming. Danielle Morley begins her first stint as the Head Men’s Diving; Women’s Diving Coach at Boston College for the 2025-26 campaign. Morley was previously at Wheaton as the diving coach for two seasons from 2023 to 2025. During her time with the Lyons, she experienced success immediately, coaching all of her first-year divers to a level of excellence that included them qualifying to compete at the New England Women’s & Men’s Athletic Conference Championship. She also served as a diving consultant to the College of Wooster diving team, while she was at Wheaton. Following her tenure on the Norton campus the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth alum returned home to serve as the Corsairs Head Diving Coach for four seasons. In just her first campaign in Dartmouth as a coach, Morley guided one of her male divers to the gold medal stand at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving; Diving Association Championships. Morley was named the NEISDA Coach of the Year following the 2010 NEISDA Championships. Prior to her collegiate coaching career, Morley served as a Gymnastics Instructor in Norwood, Mass. for three years and spent a three-year residence as a Youth Diving Coach in North Dartmouth, Mass. Morley was an outstanding collegiate diver in her own right and was named to the UMass Dartmouth Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012.
