Biography

Christian Noble has been named the newest assistant coach for the Boston University men’s and women’s track & field and cross country teams as announced by director of track & field and cross country Gabe Sanders. Noble will assist with the distance program. Noble competed in track & field and cross country at Lee University where he was a seven-time Division II All-American. He claimed Div. II NCAA Championship titles in the distance medley relay (DMR), the 3000m race and the 5000m race. In addition to his NCAA titles, Noble broke Div. II records in the 1500m (3:36.00), mile (3:56.10), 3000m (7:50.98), DMR, and the 5000m race. He currently holds all those records except the 5K (13:24.78) and is the No. 11 all-time collegiate record holder in the 1500m. Noble recently competed at the 2022 USATF Outdoor Championships in which he placed 14th in the 1500m and 18th in the 5000m. Currently, he trains with coach Mark Coogan with team New Balance Boston. A 21x Gulf South Conference Champion, Noble graduated from Lee University in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
