Scott Stolz

Biography

Scott Stolz joined the BGSU staff in June 2023 as the assistant director of player personnel. For the 2025 season he was moved over to defensive quality control. While working as the assistant director of player personnel he assisted in evaluating potential prospects and helps manage the recruiting database and transfer portal while maintaining relationships with recruits and their families. Stolz also mentors student recruiting interns and helps organize recruiting functions. Stolz graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s in communications in 2023. During his senior year, he served as a scouting intern with the Spartans, enabling positional coaches to successfully evaluate recruits and determine program viability while also evaluating and managing scouting activities for the MSU quarterbacks. During the 2020 season, Stolz was an assistant varsity football coach at Bullock Creek High School in Midland, Michigan. A Midland native, Stolz attended Dow High School and graduated in 2019.
