Alec Tocco

Biography

Tocco enters his fifth season on the staff for the Brown men’s lacrosse program in 2026. The Bears captured the program's eighth Ocean State Cup in 2024 after taking rivalry wins over Providence College, the first under Torpey, and Bryant. Brown also took a thrilling 8-7 road win over 16th-ranked UMass to close out non-conference play. Charlie Cave continued his stellar career and earned Inside Lacrosse Third Team All-America honors along with Second Team All-Ivy recognition. Aidan McLane joined Cave on the Second Team All-Ivy. The program continued to excel in the classroom and earned the highest GPA in the country with the USILA Academic Team Award. Six Bears picked up USILA Scholar All-American honors and 12 Bears picked up NEILA All-Academic recognition. Brown finished the 2023 season with a 6-8 record and 2-4 Ivy League mark with three of those losses coming by a single goal. Five Bears, including First Team All-Ivy Matthew Gunty, picked up postseason Ivy League honors. Additionally, Gunty and Devon McLane picked up USILA Scholar All-American honors as the Bears posted another strong season in the classroom. The 2022 campaign saw the Bears post a 10-5 overall record and capture a share of the Ivy League Regular Season Title. The Bears welcomed Cornell, Penn, and Yale to Stevenson-Pincince Field for the 2022 Ivy League Tournament. The Bears earned an at-large berth to the 2022 NCAA Tournament and were named the eighth-seed and earned the right to host Virginia in the NCAA
