Brian Foos is entering his sixth season as head coach of Capital University football in 2025. A native of Tiffin, Ohio, Foos returned to Central Ohio and the Ohio Athletic Conference after spending two years building the football program at Madonna University in Michigan. Since taking the Capital job in 2021, Foos has mentored 22 All-OAC and 26 Academic All-OAC student-athletes. In 2025, he led the Comets to three wins and seven All-OAC honors. Foos is a proven program builder with extensive experience resurrecting struggling football programs. He helped resurrect Baldwin Wallace Football as offensive coordinator, taking the team from 3-7 to an eight-win season with nationally-ranked performance. He built Ohio Dominican University's football program from scratch in 2004, taking them from winless to a 12-1 record and NAIA playoff competition within five seasons. He also built Lindsey Wilson College's program, winning the Mid-South Conference Championship and earning three consecutive NAIA playoff appearances. Foos is an Otterbein University alumnus where he started 39 of 40 games on the offensive line. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Otterbein (2003) and an MBA from Ohio Dominican University (2007). He is married to Sara and has four children.
