Carleton College Softball

Amy Erickson is the school's all-time winningest softball coach and enters the 2025 season with 333 career wins, more than four times the next closest total in program history. Under her leadership, Carleton recorded the first three 20-win seasons in school history and 15 of the top-18 victory totals in program annals. Erickson was a four-year starter and two-time Academic All-American while she played third base at Moorhead State University (Minn.). She made three NAIA National Tournament appearances during her college career, receiving a prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. After graduating in 1994, she coached high school softball and later served as an assistant coach at Michigan State University before coming to Carleton. Erickson is a professor in Carleton's physical education, athletics, and recreation department and began serving as the PEAR Department's Senior Women's Administrator in the summer of 2024.
