Andy Sneddon serves as Central Michigan Athletics' lead writer and editor-in-chief of the department's website, cmuchippewas.com. He is the sports communications contact for the CMU men's golf, women's golf, wrestling, and baseball programs. Sneddon began at CMU in 2014 after some 25 years working as a sports writer/sports editor at the Petoskey News-Review, the Sault Ste. Marie Evening News, the Cheboygan Tribune and the Macomb Daily. He has worked as a freelance writer for several publications and wire services, including the Detroit Free Press, the Associated Press, the Traverse City Record-Eagle, MHSAA.com, and several other Michigan publications. Sneddon has earned more than two dozen awards from the Associated Press for feature writing, columns, game stories and sustained coverage. In 2010, while on staff as sports editor, the Petoskey News-Review was named Newspaper of the Year by the Michigan Press Association. A Ferndale native, Sneddon holds a bachelor's degree with a major in journalism/communications, which he earned in 1990 from Oakland University.

Ben Nast serves as Central Michigan baseball's director of baseball operations, a post to which he was appointed to in January 2025. Nast joined the program in September 2023 and served for two seasons as a member of the student manager staff. As the director of operations, Nast is primarily responsible for the day-to-day functions of the program including travel coordination, equipment and laundry management, team meals, technology assistance, the organization of scouting reports and recruiting data, and the oversight of student managers. He also assists at all practices and camps. Nast, a Troy Athens High School graduate, is working towards a bachelor's degree with a major in sports management at CMU.

Brett Devereaux joined Central Michigan Athletics as an associate athletic trainer in October, 2022. He was promoted to assistant athletic director for sports medicine in fall 2025 and works primarily with the Chippewa baseball program. Devereaux served from 2013-22 at Northwood where he worked with the soccer, volleyball, baseball and golf programs, and in 2012-13 at Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Devereaux earned a bachelor of arts degree with a major in physical education with a concentration in exercise science from Albion in May, 2009. He earned a master of athletic training degree from Findlay in 2012. He played on the baseball and football teams at Albion as an undergrad. Devereaux is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and holds certification in several techniques.

Cecily Barnaud is in her first year as Central Michigan's dedicated student-athlete counselor, beginning her duties in January 2025. She came to Central Michigan after spending two years with Black Hills Psychology in Spearfish, South Dakota, and worked as a mental health counselor at Spearfish High School for nearly four years, where she developed the athlete mental health program. She also served as a clinical counselor with Behavior Management Systems from 2018-21. Barnaud played softball at Briar Cliff University before transferring to Sioux Falls University. She graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in behavioral psychology in 2013 and earned a master's degree in educational policy and administration from Dakota Wesleyan in 2017. A native of Mason City, Iowa, Barnaud earned a master's of social work from Arizona State in 2021. She is a licensed master social worker in both South Dakota and Michigan and is a member of the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports. Barnaud and her husband, Francois, have three daughters, Quinn, Eden, and Delaney.

Dr. Megan Manierski is a part of MyMichigan Health's comprehensive sports medicine team and is in her first year as Central Michigan Athletics' sports psychologist. Manierski came to Central Michigan after spending the previous two years as a group coordinator and psychologist at the Auburn University Student Counseling & Psychological Services Center, where she oversaw the implementation of the group therapy program, completed group screenings, and provided bi-weekly short-term sessions for individuals. She also worked as a pre-doctoral intern. Prior to her stint at Auburn and as a graduate student, Manierski worked in various psychology roles in the New York City area, including with Seton Hall Athletics (2020-21), the Zucker Hillside Hospital in Glen Oaks, N.Y., Stony Brook Mind-Body Clinical Research Center, Kawameeh Middle School in Union Township, N.J., and at the Rutgers University Center for Psychological Services. She also trained at the Rutgers University GSAPP Performance Psychology Center (GPPC). A 2018 graduate of Adelphi (N.Y.) University, Manierski graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a child and family studies minor. She was also a member of the Adelphi volleyball team. She earned a master's degree in psychology (2021) and Doctorate of Psychology from Rutgers. Manierski is a licensed psychologist in Michigan and is a member of the National Register for Health Service Psychologists.

Ethan Lewandowski joined CMU Athletics as an assistant director of the Chippewa Athletic Fund in January, 2023. In fall 2025, he was promoted to Associate Athletic Director/Athletic Fund/Tickets. Lewandowski earned his bachelor of science with a major in sports management in December, 2022 and is working toward his master of arts in sports administration. Lewandowski, a Midland native, completed internships as a student manager in Central Michigan's ticket office and with the Great Lakes Loons, a minor league baseball team based in Midland.

Nate Sommers serves as Central Michigan baseball's director of video and analytics, a post to which he was appointed to in January 2025. Sommers joined the program in September 2024 and served one season as a member of the student manager staff. As the director of video & analytics, Sommers is primarily responsible for all film and video work within the program, including all gameday and practice video editing and charting, scouting report video and analytical breakdown, and all data within Trackman, Synergy, and 643. He also assists at all practices and camps. Sommers, a Grandville High School graduate, is working towards a bachelor's degree with a major in sports management at CMU.

Tod Miller joined Central Michigan athletic facilities and operations as a graduate assistant in August, 2023 and was promoted to Assistant Director of Facilities in the summer of 2025. Miller worked as a football student recruiting assistant for four years and completed an internship at Pastime Tournaments in Carmel, Ind. Miller earned a bachelor of science degree with a major in sport and fitness administration management from Michigan State in 2023, then completed a master of sports administration at Central Michigan in 2025.
