Coker University Baseball

Kyle Gallman ’13, ’16 joined the Coker University baseball program on June 15, 2022. He will serve as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for the Cobras. The 2025 season would mark Gallman’s third season on staff for the Cobras. The Cobras would earn their second consecutive 30-win season (30-22, 17-13), and a fifth place finish in the SAC regular season. Coker would go on to earn multiple top 25 wins over Lenoir Rhyne (3/1), #3 Catawba (3/8), #16 Mount Olive (3/11), #7 Carson Newman (4/4) & (4/5) and RV UNC Pembroke (3/4). The Cobras would also have a winning streak of 10 games (Feb 8-Feb 24). The 2025 Cobra pitching staff showed continued improvement from the 2024 staff. The 2025 Cobra pitching staff lowered the team ERA again to 4.61, this would be good for 3rd in the SAC conference. The pitching staff also saw improvements in nearly every category including: Innings (433.2), Hits allowed (480), Runs (270), Earned runs (222), Walks (173), Strikeouts (290), and WHIP (1.51). The Cobras saw Senior Britton Adams earn SAC 2nd Team All-Conference Relief Pitcher. Adams would also go on to win multiple All-Region awards for his senior season. Adams would also go on to be named ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II Southeast All-Region Second Team, the first time a pitcher has won this award since 2013 (Zach Loraine).
