Biography

Kevin Koch completed his eighth season as Concordia Wisconsin's men's wrestling head coach in 2024-25. During his time, the Falcons have compiled a 34-54 record in duals and compete in the toughest regional in the country. In 2024, the Falcons made history at the CCIW Championships, taking third overall, the highest team finish since joining the conference. The Blue and White also claimed four wrestlers, including two champions, placed in the top three of their respective brackets. As a freshman, Cole Ramos became the second Falcon in history to take first at the CCIW Championships, storming through the 149-pound division and claiming First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year honors. Meanwhile, Jonathan Pullen put on a dominant performance to take the 185-pound division and claim the event's Most Valuable Wrestler Award. The 2023 season saw Koch's squad claim a 7-3 dual record and finish in fourth place, the highest conference finish during Koch's tenure. Koch, one of the greatest wrestlers in program history, returns to his alma mater a decade after ending his career as a National Qualifier. The Edgar, Wisconsin, native completed his career with 119 career victories, which ranks second all-time. Koch won over 30 matches in a season twice, including an outstanding 36-10 record during his senior campaign that culminated in a trip to the NCAA Division III Championship.
