Allison Henry

Biography

Allison Henry begins her first season at Dartmouth in 2025-26. “Allison is a great addition to our coaching staff,” Socha said. “She distinguished herself in the hiring process with her organization, passion for the sport and understanding of the operations of a collegiate team. We are excited to see her translate lessons learned as a student-athlete onto the deck as a coach, and know that she will be a great supporter and go-to person for our student-athletes.” Henry was a multi-year letterwinner on the Virginia Tech women’s swim team, graduating in 2024 with her Bachelor of Science in public health. During her time with the Hokies, she was named to the 2022 All-Academic team and received Scholar-Athlete honors in 2024. A Dean’s List honoree every semester, Henry multiple times featured the highest grade point average on the team. In her time swimming at Virginia Tech, she swam a variety of events, including the breaststroke, butterfly and IM. Additionally, Henry earned her Master of Science in Applied Nutrition and Physical Activity from Virginia Tech in May of 2025 with a 4.0 grade point average. Most recently, Henry served as an assistant swim coach at Somerton Springs Swim Club in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, as well as an assistant swim coach at NRG Swimming in Langhorne, Pa.
