Head Women's Cross-Country and Track & Field Coach
Coach Hornig has guided the Bulldogs to a top three finish in cross-country 10 times. DSU won its first-ever MAC CC Championship in 2016 and became the first team to qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships that same season. In addition, Hornig has seen 10 individuals qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships. In T&F, Hornig enjoyed the most success during the 2008-09 season when he led the Bulldogs to a second place finish at the MAC Championships in indoor track & field and a third place in outdoor track & field. He has also guided several student-athletes to the NCAA Division III National Championships including DeSales' Hall of Famer, Gina Lucrezi, who was a seven-time T&F All-American winning an individual National Championship in the 1,500 in indoor track in 2004.
