Biography

The 2023-24 season will mark the fifth year Cameron Hart has served as a volunteer coach for the Eagles' track and field team program where he specializes in jumps. Hart graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. In the field, Hart was a productive jumper for the EMU track & field program from 2015-2019. The Ohio native saw great improvement over the years at the Mid-American Conference championships. During his sophomore campaign, Hart capture the conference high jump crown (2.18m) and placed third in the long jump (7.37m). The high jump mark of 2.18m currently ranks sixth-best in program history. In the outdoor season of 2017, Hart registered a personal-best leap of 7.45m to take fifth at the MAC championships. The following year, the Ohio jumper set a new career-high in the triple jump, bounding 14.05m for a first-place finish at the Don Kleinow Invitational.
