Assistant Coach (Jumps)
The 2023-24 season will mark the fifth year Cameron Hart has served as a volunteer coach for the Eagles' track and field team program where he specializes in jumps. Hart graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. In the field, Hart was a productive jumper for the EMU track & field program from 2015-2019. The Ohio native saw great improvement over the years at the Mid-American Conference championships. During his sophomore campaign, Hart capture the conference high jump crown (2.18m) and placed third in the long jump (7.37m). The high jump mark of 2.18m currently ranks sixth-best in program history. In the outdoor season of 2017, Hart registered a personal-best leap of 7.45m to take fifth at the MAC championships. The following year, the Ohio jumper set a new career-high in the triple jump, bounding 14.05m for a first-place finish at the Don Kleinow Invitational.

Assistant Coach (Vertical Jumps/Multi Events)
Evan Brusich is entering his seventh season as an assistant coach in 2025-26. He oversees the Eagles' multi athletes, pole vaulters, and high jumpers. The 2024-25 season under Brusich’s guidance saw Brendan Hill earn all-conference honors with a second-place finish in the high jump at the Indoor MAC Championships. On the women’s side, pentathlon athlete Shay Clemetson scored 3,706 points at the Indoor MAC Championships, the fifth-best mark in program history. Clemetson earned marks in the program top 10 in the pentathlon 60m hurdles, high jump, shot put, and long jump events. High jumper Micah Martin earned the fourth best mark in program history with a 1.77m jump. Also in the indoor season, multi athletes Samuel Jeffery, Cason Doolittle, and Julien Badoo all earned spots in the program top 10 for heptathlon performances. Jeffrey earned program history marks for both day one and day two scoring, long jump, high jump, and the 1000m run. Doolittle earned marks in the long jump, 60m hurdles, and the No. 1 spot in program history for the heptathlon 1000m run. Badoo earned top 10 spots for day two scoring, pole vault, and the 1000m run. Additionally, Lucky Fiaku earned MAC Field Athlete of the Week Dec. 10, for his second-place finish in the high jump at the GVSU Holiday Open. In the outdoor season, Brusich saw Martin earn all-conference honors with a second place finish in the high jump (1.76m), fourth best mark in program history. Assistant Coach (Distance)
Jenna Zydanowicz was hired as an assistant distance coach for the Eastern Michigan University cross country and track and field programs beginning in the 2025-26 season. Zydanowicz begins her coaching debut after graduating from the cross country and track and field programs at the University of Connecticut earlier this year. A five-year member of the Huskies’ programs (2020-2025), she earned her Bachelor of Science in allied health sciences and her Master’s of Public Health, along with a multitude of athletic achievements. During her collegiate career, she was a three-time captain for both cross country and track and field seasons. She holds school records in the 1000 meter, 3000m, and distance medley relay, along with holding second-place program times in the mile, 1500m, and 5000m. Zydanowicz was an NCAA Individual Qualifier in 2024, and an NCAA First Round Qualifier in 2025. In her time at UConn, she was a part of eight team conference championships, along with earning an Individual Big East Conference Championship in the 5000m in 2025 and collecting ten all-conference selections. She also received Cross Country Northeast All-Region Honors (2023, 2024), and the Big East Sports Excellence Award (2024-2025). Outside of her athletic accomplishments, Zydanowicz also received recognition for academic and leadership excellence. Assistant Coach (Throws)
Nia Henderson was hired as an assistant coach to EMU’s track and field throwers Oct. 21, 2024. She is now entering her second season at Eastern in 2025-26. In the 2024-25 season, Henderson saw Jake McEachern earn All-MAC honors with his second place finish in the weight throw (17.99m) at the Indoor MAC Championships. On the women’s side, Faith Moore improved her program top 10 standing as she tosses the women’s program’s sixth-best mark at 16.99m. Also in the indoor season, two more throwers from the women’s team notched program top 10 spots under the guidance of Henderson, as Aleah Johnson now holds spot No. 7 with a weight throw of 16.95m, and Nicolette Lewis holds spot No. 10 with a weight throw of 16.43m. In the outdoor season, McEachern captured EMU’s first title of the Outdoor MAC Championships, winning the hammer throw with a season-best 63.63m. Also earning all-conference honors was Drew Knieper, who earned silver in the javelin throw with a toss of 59.43m. Women’s thrower Isabella Brent notched a program top 10 mark with her hammer throw of 57.54m, earning spot No. 5 in EMU history. In five seasons at Madonna, Henderson coached throwers to 21 NAIA national qualifying performances, nine NAIA All-American Awards, and 11 school records. She was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Assistant Coach of the Year in 2023.
