Gettysburg College Women's Lacrosse

Taking over as just the fourth head coach since the inception of the Bullets' women's lacrosse program in 1971, there was no fall off in the success of the program in Hibbard's first three years at the helm. In her debut campaign in 2023, she guided Gettysburg to the Division III national championship game for the fifth time in program history and had the team ranked in the top 10 of the IWLCA coaches' poll each week during the season. The Bullets posted a perfect 9-0 Centennial Conference record and went 19-5 overall, including winning 17 of the last 19 games. Her offense set a new program standard, pouring in a record 379 goals and 557 points to go with a record-setting 358 draw controls. She coached three Gettysburg players to the top awards in the conference with Jordan Basso (attacker), Lily Macatee (defensive) and Julia Daly (rookie) taking home hardware at season's end. For an encore, the Bullets put together another 17-4 campaign, another perfect 9-0 conference season, and a top-10 ranking each week. As a student-athlete, the former Charlotte Cunningham was a four-year member of the Division II Seton Hill University women's lacrosse team, where she earned second team all-conference as a senior with a career total of 37 goals and 86 assists.

Martel joins the Gettysburg staff as an assistant coach for the 2026 season. She spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at her alma mater, Springfield.
