Head Golf Coach
Scott Moe, a 1995 graduate of Gustavus, is entering his 29th year as the head coach of the men's golf team and 22nd with the women's golf team in the 2024-25 school year. Moe has directed the men's team to seven MIAC titles and his squad has qualified for the NCAA Championships a total of 15 times during his tenure at the helm of the program. The Gusties have posted top ten finishes at the NCAA Championships in nine of Moe's years, including top-five finishes four times and a national championship in 2004. During his tenure, Moe has coached nine MIAC individual champions, 21 Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars, and 15 individuals who have earned All-America honors 25 times. Moe directed the women's team to three consecutive MIAC Championships (2009, 2009, 2010), and eight NCAA tournaments, with finishes of second (three times), third (twice) and sixth (twice). Moe's team has consistently earned WGCA Academic All-America honors, and posted the second-best GPA in all of Division III in 2022-23. Eight women have earned 15 All-America honors under Moe's leadership. Moe, a native of Elk River, Minnesota, has been named the MIAC Coach of the Year eight times and the Golf Coaches Association of America's District Five Coach of the Year five times. Moe was named the GCAA National Coach of the Year in 2003-04, and the Women's National Golf Coaches Association National Coach of the Year in 2007-08 and 2009-10. Assistant Golf Coach
Randall Stuckey is in his 18th season as the assistant coach for the men's and women's golf teams in the 2024-25 academic year. Stuckey announced his retirement in the spring of 2024, retiring from his position as the Director of Athletic Development and Engagement. Stuckey has been involved with the college in a number of ways since graduating in 1983. After teaching business education and coaching for two years, Stuckey joined the administration at Gustavus in 1985 as the assistant alumni director. He was named the Director of Alumni Relations in 1994 and served in that role until June of 2013. Stuckey also served as the Gusties' head baseball coach from 1987-90. An alumni of the baseball program himself, Stuckey compiled a record of 49-68 in his time as head coach. In 2012, he received the Eric Norelius Award, given annually to an outstanding administrative employee who has demonstrated exceptional service and dedication to the College. For his work with the Gustavus women's golf team, Stuckey was named the 2021 Women's Golf Coaches Association National Assistant Coach of the Year. A four-year letter winner and two-time captain in baseball at Gustavus, Stuckey helped the team to a MIAC championship in 1980. Born in New Ulm, Minn., Randall currently lives in Saint Peter with his wife Beth (Onkka '81) and has two children, Mark '08 and Rachel '10. The only thing he enjoys more than time on the golf course is the role of proud grandparent.

Assistant Golf Coach
Sarah Wolter is in her second season as a member of the Gustavus Golf coaching staff in the 2024-25 academic year. Last season, Wolter helped the Gustie women to a sixth place finish at the MIAC championships and the men a fourth place finish. Two Gustie men earned All-Conference honors (Teddy Kaste and Chris Gutuza), while Annika Reierson was an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection in her senior season. The Gustie women took first at the UW-Eau Claire Georgianni Invite and third at the DIII Classic in the fall. In the spring, the women took second at their home invite and third at Bethel's Rumble at the Ridge. The men took second at the Minnesota Classic and third at the prestigious Williams Invitational in the fall. Wolter, a 2002 graduate of Gustavus, is also a professor in the Gustavus Communications Department, teaching a variety of courses in Communication Studies, particularly in the subject area of Critical Media Studies. Wolter was a member of the Gustavus golf team while a student, competing from 1998-2002. She compiled three top-10 finishes in her career with an average of 91.0 in 42 rounds played. Wolter graduated from Gustavus in 2002 with her degree in Honors Communication Studies. She returned in 2005 for four years as a visiting professor. After graduating with her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, Wolter returned to her alma mater as a visiting assistant professor in 2012.
