Jeremy Flynn

Biography

Jeremy enters his 17th year at Student-Athlete Support Services. He has served in various capacities during his time at Michigan State. As Associate Director of SASS, he is responsible for managing the academic support services for the Spartan Men's Soccer, Wrestling, Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving, Rowing, and Field Hockey programs. During his tenure, Flynn has mentored multiple Academic All-Conference, All-American, and valedictorian student-athletes, and his teams have seen double digit cumulative grade point average increases. As the Facility Manager of the Clara Bell Smith Student-Athlete Academic Center, Flynn oversees the scheduling, maintenance, and special projects of the 31,000 square foot building. He is also an active member of various organizations including the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A). He currently serves on the N4A Board of Directors as a Division Director of Membership Services, received N4A Individual Certification in 2011, and graduated from the N4A Professional Development Institute in 2006. Flynn earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Taylor University in 2000 where he was a four-year varsity letter winner on the football team and four-year member of the chamber orchestra. A native of East Lansing, Flynn received his master's degree in Athletics Administration from Michigan State University in 2002.
