Biography

At Murray State 2025 is in his second as offensive assistant. Before MSU Assistant Coach at Cooper High School in 1982. Spent 1983-92 as a Graduate Assistant at Auburn, Minnesota, Clemson, and Arkansas. Was part of coach Gene Stallings' staff at Alabama from 1992-96 as a Quality Control Coach. Coached the Secondary and was head of operations for coach Terry Bowden at Auburn from 1996-98. Coached DBs at Jacksonville State from 2000-13. Assistant Coach/Special Needs Teacher and Chetham County HS (TN) 2013-14. Served as an Assistant Head Coach and RB/WR Coach at Holmes CC (MS) 2014-18. Moved to Southwest Mississippi Community College from 2018-21 where he served as Assistant HC and was QB/RB Coach. Worked as an Assistant Coach, Substitute Teacher, and Head of Maintenance at Morgan Academy in Selma Alabama from 2021-24. Personal Graduated from Cooper High School in New Hope, Minnesota in 1977. Graduated from Hamline University with a B.A. in Education in 1981. Earned a Masters of Education in Motor Learning and Motor Development from Auburn in 1986.
