Roger Williams University Men's Lacrosse

Kevin Gould has been the Head Coach of the Roger Williams Men's Lacrosse Team since 2022. In his second season, the team's 13-6 record tied the most wins in program history (13). The team's 9-1 record at home was the most wins on Bayside Field in program history. Prior to Gould's arrival at Roger Williams, he spent three seasons as the Offensive Coordinator at Providence College of the Big East Conference, coaching 4 All Big-East players on offense. Before Providence, Gould spent five seasons as the Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at UMass Lowell, where he helped develop players earning First-Team All-America East honors and coached 3 future professional players of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Prior to UMass Lowell, Gould served two seasons as assistant coach and Offensive coordinator at Dartmouth College of the Ivy League. His collegiate coaching experience began at Bryant University in 2014 as an assistant coach, where the Bulldogs won the Northeast Conference Championship and appeared in NCAA quarterfinals for the first time in program history. Gould graduated from Bentley University in 2010 with a degree in business management and enjoyed an impressive career with the Falcons' lacrosse program, ranking fifth in program history in assists and eighth in career points. Bernasconi, a 2020 graduate of Roger Williams University, was a four year member of the men's lacrosse team as a faceoff specialist and midfielder. He currently sits eighth in program history in faceoff winning percentage at .539 and was a three-time Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-Academic selection. Prior to joining Roger Williams, Bernasconi coached youth lacrosse in his hometown of Hanover, Mass. and at the High School level for Rhode Island Lacrosse Club. Bernasconi will oversee the Hawks' faceoff unit and assist with the defense and midfield.
