Assistant Coach
Schall joined the Tars for a third stint prior to the 2021 season. He previously assisted the program in the mid 80's under Boyd Coffie, and at the turn of the century alongside Bob Rikeman. Schall has an extensive baseball resume in Central Florida, dating all the way back to 1981 when he began his playing career as a catcher at Flagler College. During his time as a Saint, Schall was a smooth fielding, on-base machine who ranks in the top-5 all-time at the school in walks, and earned recognition as a member of the Flagler 1980's All-Decade team. He jumped into coaching soon after, finding success at both the high school and collegiate levels. Immediately following his playing days at Flagler, Schall joined Rollins' legendary skipper Boyd Coffie's staff as an assistant in 1986 and 1987. After spending a few years as skipper at West Orange High in Winter Garden, Schall then joined UCF in 1996 as a volunteer assistant with a focus on helping catchers. Shortly thereafter, he found his way on to the staff at Rollins once more. Schall helped the Tars win 214 games from 1997-2003. Following a stint at Ocoee High, Schall took over the program at Olympia High in Orlando. He elevated the Titans to new heights, including a #1 national ranking in 2015 according to MaxPreps. During his time at Olympia, Schall produced more than a dozen college signees, including University of Florida All-American Michael Byrne and former Rollins outfielder Cameron Montgomery.
