Damiere Shaw, who was promoted to associate offensive coordinator in 2026, is in his seventh season at Rutgers and fourth as running backs coach. A Broyles Award nominee, Shaw was instrumental in the development of RB Kyle Monangai, who produced the two highest rushing seasons for RU in the Big Ten era and was drafted by the Chicago Bears. Adding in RB Antwan Raymond’s Doak Walker Award semifinalist season, Rutgers is the only power conference program with a 1,200-yard rusher each of the past three years (2023-25). A native of Chester, Pennsylvania, Shaw previously coached RU wide receivers after joining the Scarlet Knights as the director of player development.
