Biography

Zach Adkins is currently in his sixth season working as the Scarlet Knights' athletic trainer. Adkins began his tenure at Rutgers in 2015 as an athletic training intern before moving up to full-time status as an assistant athletic trainer. He assisted with coverage of the Scarlet Knight football program in 2016 before moving to his current role with the softball program. A 2013 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Adkins earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2015. While at UT-Chattanooga, he assisted the athletic training staff in coverage for football, wrestling and softball.
