Becky Bonaventura

Biography

Becky Bonaventura (Hotek) currently serves as an Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning at Rutgers University. In this role, Becky directs year-round athletic development for five different teams/event groups (tennis, swimming, diving, jumps and vaults) as well as manages the finances and facility maintenance for the strength and conditioning department. Becky joined Rutgers Athletics as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in August 2019. She is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Becky earned a Master's degree in Sport Management from St. John's University and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Waynesburg University. Becky's mission as a coach is to effectively communicate to those in her sphere of influence how capable and resilient they really are by helping them break down their goals into attainable steps in a way that builds them up and grows their confidence and future performance.
