In two years with the Kats, Justice has posted a 35-23 record, going 25-13 in Southland Conference play. That includes going 19-10 in the 2019-20 season and 14-6 against Southland competition. Aryiell Robinson will be entering her first season as an assistant coach at Sam Houston. Robinson spent the previous three seasons on Ty Evans' staff at Tennessee State University. During her time there the team ranked in the top five nationally among NCAA Division I schools in forced turnovers per game (’22,’24) and in steals per game and total steals (’22). At Tennessee State she coached the 2021-2022 Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the year, two All Ohio Valley Conference First Team members, one All Ohio Valley Conference Second Team member, and two All Newcomer Team members. The team also ranked in the top five nationally among NCAA Division I schools in forced turnovers per game (’22,’24) and in steals per game and total steals (’22). Prior to arriving at TSU, Robinson was head coach at William Woods University. Robinson had a standout season to begin her collegiate head coaching career. William Woods went 25-7 and despite falling in the semifinals of the American Midwest Conference Championship, the team earned an automatic bid to the 2020 NAIA National Championship. Unfortunately, the championship was canceled due to COVID, but the team finished ranked 25th in the final NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The following season the Owls went 5-12 on the season in AMC play. Their season ended after falling in the AMC Tournament Quarterfinals to Lyon College.
