Halligan completed her Masters of Professional Studies at St. John's university in 2021, while serving as a graduate assistant in the Sports Medicine department. During her time as a graduate assistant, Halligan worked with softball, women's soccer, and women's tennis. In the summer of 2021, Halligan was hired as assistant athletic trainer for women's basketball. Halligan is a member of the National Athletic Training Association. Halligan is a New Jersey native and currently resides in Queens, N.Y.
