Biography

Heather Cooke Vetreno joined the Seahawks women's soccer coaching staff for the 2021 campaign. Vetreno played her college ball at Division I Loyola University Maryland, being a four-year member of the Greyhounds women's soccer program as a defender. The California, Md., native saw action in 82 games with 73 starts at Loyola, tallying four goals and three assists from her defensive back position. She gained a National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas All-Northeast Region nod and three All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) honors during her tenure at Loyola. She was named to the 2009 NSCAA/adidas All-Northeast Region Second Team and 2009 All-MAAC First Team as a senior after leading a Greyhound defense that allowed just over a goal a game and helping them advance to the NCAA College Cup.
