Nick Griffith

Biography

Nick Griffith was hired by Temple Football in February 2025 as the director of scouting. He came to Philadelphia after one year at Georgia as the player personnel analyst, when the Bulldogs won the SEC Championship. At Georgia, Griffith was responsible for all high school recruiting for tight ends, as well as oversight in all transfer portal identification and evaluation procedures. While he was at Georgia, Griffith helped the Bulldogs sign two four-star tight ends in their #2 ranked recruiting class in 2024. Prior to Georgia, Griffith served as a member of the inaugural college personnel department at Florida, where he was responsible for identification and evaluation of players in the transfer portal, as well as a variety of special projects related to the transfer portal. Griffith helped the Gators sign back-to-back top-15 recruiting classes in 2022 and 2023, and a top-10 transfer portal class in 2023. Some of the players Griffith has helped identify and sign through the Transfer Portal include: Graham Mertz, Ricky Pearsall, Chimere Dike, Zachariah Branch, Caleb Banks, Cam'Ron Jackson, George Gumbs, and Trikweze Bridges. Griffith earned his undergraduate degree in sports management from North Florida in 2020 and completed his master's in sports management from Florida in 2022.
