In his first season at the helm, Earley guided the Maroon & White to a 30-26 record and earned the program's first road series win over a No. 1 team, taking two of three at Tennessee April 4-5. In addition to the series win at Tennessee, Earley's squad also secured series victories at No. 2 Arkansas and against No. 2 LSU at Blue Bell Park. The three series wins over Top 2 opponents marked the most in a single season in program history. Prior to taking over the reins, Earley served as the hitting coach the previous three seasons, helping the squad to two College World Series appearances and a national runner-up finish in 2024.
