Scott Greenman

Biography

Scott Greenman enters his fourth overall season at Chattanooga ahead of the 2025-26 season and first under an Associate Head Coach title after earning an elevation from an assistant title in June 2025. Coaching under current head coach Dan Earl for his first three seasons at UTC, Greenman has helped the Mocs compile a 68-38 (.642) overall record and a 34-20 (.629) mark in Southern Conference play over that span. Chattanooga claimed its first-ever National Invitation Tournament (NIT) title after finishing the 2024-25 season with a 29-9 overall record. Before Chattanooga, Greenman served nine years on staff at American University of the Patriot League under head coach Mike Brennan. He served as an assistant for eight of the nine years before completing the 2021-22 season as an associate head coach. Greenman joined the American University men's basketball staff in 2013-14 and was responsible for all aspects of the program during his tenure. His recruiting successes at American saw seven players in seven-straight seasons land on the Patriot League All-Rookie team including the 2016 and 2021 Rookie of the Year honorees. Prior to American, Greenman spent three seasons at Georgetown, being promoted to Director of Basketball Operations after just one season with the Hoyas. Greenman also served as an assistant coach at his alma mater Princeton from 2007-10, where he helped the Tigers to one of the biggest two-year turnarounds in program history.
