Biography

Sharon Tomei, a Santa Clarita, Calif. native and George Fox University graduate, joins the coaching staff after a record-breaking career as an infielder. A four-year starter, she became one of the most decorated players in George Fox program history, earning NCAA Statistical Champion (slugging percentage), NFCA All-American, NFCA All-Region, and multiple All-Northwest Conference honors. During her senior season, she led the NCAA in slugging percentage and broke numerous career and single-season records, including home runs (55), RBI (160), batting average (.482), and slugging percentage (1.068). With a background in Psychology, Tomei brings a strong focus on the mental side of the game. As the Director of Player Development, she is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the field and carries her leadership and championship-level experience into her coaching career.
