The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Women's Golf

Katie Woodruff became the Interim Head Coach of the Chattanooga women's golf program in October 2025. She brings extensive Division I coaching experience from prestigious programs including USC, Pepperdine, San Jose State, and Cal. At USC, she helped the program achieve No. 1 rankings in multiple seasons and was instrumental in developing LPGA Tour players including 2023 U.S. Open winner Allisen Corpuz, Gabi Ruffels, Malia Nam, and Jennifer Chang. Woodruff has coached teams to six NCAA Regional appearances and three Finals Team berths across her career. She has produced 9 All-America selections and 20 All-Conference honorees. As a player, Woodruff competed collegiately at UCF, Florida, and Louisville (2012-2016), earning 2012 CUSA Freshman of the Year honors. At Louisville, she posted nine top-10 finishes and a 73.97 senior stroke average, the sixth-best in program history. She was a three-time All-State selection at Fernandina Beach High School and has competed in multiple USGA events. Woodruff earned her bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Louisville in 2016 and has previous experience with the First Tee program in California and Kentucky.
