Head Baseball Coach
Chris Tracz was named the 19th head coach in the 133-year history of the Army baseball program July 27, 2022. Upon four seasons at the helm, Tracz is 122-86 overall. In 2026, Tracz led Army to its 17th regular season title in program history and his third Patriot League regular season championship across his four seasons at Army, splitting the accolade with Bucknell, while posting a 28-20 overall record and 17-9 mark in regular season league contests. Before Army, Tracz spent 13 seasons (2010-22) as the head coach at Marist College (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), totaling a win-loss record of 315–282–2 (.526), and a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference coaching record of 170–117 (.592), Marist's all-time winningest coach. An accomplished pitcher at Marist himself, Tracz was a three-time captain (2003, 2004, 2005), a Two-Time First Team All-Region selection and appeared in three NCAA Tournaments (2001, 2002, 2005). He compiled a career record of 38-9 with an ERA of 3.13 while striking out 298 batters in 399.2 innings. Tracz also spent the summers of 2002 and 2003 in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Falmouth Commodores. This marks Tracz's second stint with the Black Knights, as he served as an assistant coach during the 2009 season, helping the Army pitching staff lead the Patriot League in six statistical categories including wins, ERA, shutouts, complete games, strikeouts and saves en route to a Patriot League championship.

Assistant Baseball Coach
Dylan Hoy completed his first season at Army as assistant coach in 2026. In 2026, Army went 28-20 overall and 17-9 in conference regular season games, winning the Patriot League Regular Season Co-Championship. Hoy came to West Point from Louisville, where he spent the 2025 season with the Cardinals' College World Series team as a graduate assistant. He worked under head coach Dan McDonnell, assisting in implementing offensive strategies and working directly with hitters. At Louisville, he also assisted in baserunning and defensive coaching with a focus on infielder technique. Hoy pivoted to coaching after finishing his playing career at Louisville in 2024 as a graduate transfer, where he served as team captain and played in 43 games, starting in 42 at second base, third base and shortstop, batting .317 with five home runs and 30 RBIs. Before Louisville, Hoy played four seasons at Marist under coach Chris Tracz, who later became Army's head coach. At Marist, Hoy was named to the All-MAAC Preseason Team and MAAC All-Academic Team, and won Marist's James E. Pizzani Award. Hoy is from Suffern, N.Y., where he attended Suffern High School.

Assistant Baseball Coach
John Sheehan finished his third year at Army in 2026, serving as the program's pitching coach. He has molded some of the Patriot League's most high-end pitching staffs and starting rotations. Prior to Army, Sheehan spent three seasons at the University of Toledo as pitching coach, rebuilding the staff from bottom 20 percent to top 20 percent in Mid-American Conference performance. He was also the Pitching and Strength and Conditioning Coach at LaSalle University (2020-21) and Prairie View A&M University (2018-2020), and Head Pitching Coach at Salem State University (2016). Sheehan played professionally with the Colorado Rockies organization for two seasons (2014-2016) and was a four-year starter and reliever at William & Mary, where the team reached the 2013 NCAA Division I Regional finals. He graduated from William & Mary in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and is a native of Westwood, Massachusetts.
