Ashley Veach

Biography

Ashley Veach enters her fifth season with the UAB coaching staff after officially starting in January of 2021. She has helped UAB to 11 or more wins in three seasons and one 12 win season in 2022. She has coached eight All-Conference performers in both Conference USA and the AAC. Veach spent the 2019 as an assistant coach for Lander University. In her lone season with the Bearcats, they finished the season with a 20-10 record, the program’s fifth 20-win season in six years. In 2014 she joined the staff at Birmingham-Southern College. With the Panthers, Veach helped lead the Panthers to three consecutive 20-win seasons and the first NCAA Tournament victory in program history in 2015. Veach was a four-year letterwinner at Ole Miss, where she was part of 52 victories with the Rebels. During her time at Ole Miss, Veach played in 369 sets and was named to the SEC Athletic Academic Honor Roll three times. A native of Alpharetta, Ga., Veach won three state championships as a member of the Northview High School volleyball program and was name the Georgia 5A Player of the Year in 2008. She set the program record for aces (272) as well as the single-season ace record (90) in 2006. She also set the single-season digs record (562) in 2008.
