Assistant Coach
Jeremy Miranda was elevated to Assistant Coach in summer of 2023 after 16 seasons as Florida’s Volunteer Coach. He continues to oversee all creative aspects musically and choreographically for Florida floor routines as well as aid in the team’s coaching and recruiting. His 19 years at Florida have included 17 NCAA Championship appearances, three NCAA team titles, 50 All-America honors earned in NCAA Championships’ floor competition (including the 2015, 2019 and 2022 NCAA champion), 11 Southeastern Conference floor champions, 20 NCAA Regional floor champions, and 226 regular season floor titles – including all 10 possible titles in 2020. Also, three of the top four floor totals in NCAA Championship history belong to the Gators – No. 1 49.75 (2022 semi), No. T2 49.725 (2013 Super Six) and No. T4 49.7125 (2022 team final). Miranda shared the 2025 Women’s Gymnastics Coaches Association (WCGA) Region 5 Assistant Coach of the Year honor with UF’s other assistants – Adrian Burde and Owen Field. Prior to joining the Gator program in the summer of 2007, Miranda worked with the University of Nebraska women's gymnastics team for the 2006 and 2007 seasons. His choreography and assistance to the coaching staff helped the Huskers to the Super Six Championship both seasons. In addition, Miranda also served as club coach for the Nebraska School of Gymnastics from 2005-07, coaching classes ranging from preschool to elite. Associate Head Coach / General Manager
Owen Field is the Gators Associate Head Coach / General Manager who is in his 12th season with Florida in 2026-27. He was elevated to Associate Head Coach in the summer of 2024 and became the first in collegiate gymnastics to add G.M. title in the summer of 2025. This is a dual capacity leadership role combining high-level technical coaching responsibilities with strategic oversight of areas including NIL education, database systems, analytics and student-athlete development initiatives. Field’s Coaching Career: At Florida: A national high five NCAA uneven bars titles since 2016 were claimed by Gators - Bridget Sloan (2016), Alex McMurtry (2017), Trinity Thomas (2022), Leanne Wong (2024) and Riley McCusker (2026). The Gators' lineup is a regular among the nation’s top four uneven bars rankings, including making appearances at No. 1 in five of the last eight seasons. McMurtry was the nation’s only gymnast to turn in multiple 10.0 bars marks in 2016 and she added two more in 2017 – including in the NCAA Super Six team final. She was nearly perfect again in 2018 NCAA Super Six action with her fifth 9.975 bars mark of the season. Trinity Thomas earned her first collegiate 10.0 on the uneven bars in 2020 and twice found perfection on the event in 2021. Her postseason 10.0s in 2022 (NCAA Regionals) and 2023 (SEC Championships) completed ‘Season Slams’ (10.0 in each apparatus).
