University of Indianapolis Women's Tennis

Entering his fourteenth season at the helm of the UIndy tennis programs, Malik Tabet (pronounced tuh-BAY) has the Greyhounds in the national spotlight and atop the ranks of the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Midwest region. He has solidified a standard of success to both the men's and women's tennis programs, achieving a long list of accolades under his direction. To date, Tabet has led the Hounds to 16 Midwest ITA Regional individual championships, 17 NCAA Tournament appearances, 11 total trips to the NCAA round of 16 (men's and women's programs had never reached round of 16 prior to Tabet's tenure), program-first trips to the NCAA semifinals for both the men's and women's programs, and 14 GLVC Tournament championships. As a student-athlete himself, Tabet played a significant role in propelling the University of Mobile (Ala.) to the 1997 NAIA National Championship. Tabet reached as high as fifth in the nation in singles, and 12th in doubles for the Rams during their championship season. After transferring to the University of West Florida his senior season, Tabet helped the Argonauts earn the 1999 Gulf South Conference Championship and a third-place finish at the 1999 NCAA Division II National Tournament. Tabet also enjoyed a standout career as an international player, competing for the Algerian National Team from 1991-95, as well as the Algerian Davis Cup team. Daria Jula joined the University of Indianapolis tennis staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach in Fall 2025. Originally from Romania, Daria competed at Delaware State

Graduated from Southern Arkansas University with a dual degree in Sport Management and Liberal Arts/Sciences. Served as the Women's Varsity Tennis Head Coach at Kathleen MacDonald High School and also coached at Kim Grant Tennis Academy in Palo Alto, CA. Originally from Switzerland and fluent in English and German, with proficiency in French and Italian. Achievements include GAC Doubles Champion 2021, First Team All-GAC Doubles in 2021, MIAA Scholar-Athlete in 2023, Regionals Champions 2022, D2 National Tournament Participant, and Most Outstanding Sport Management Student of the Year 2023-24.
