During his first 11 seasons in Louisville, the Cardinals have three College World Series appearances, five ACC Atlantic Division championships, six NCAA Super Regional berths, 24 All-American selections (including 14 hitters) and 61players have been selected in the Major League Baseball Draft. Season Capsules 2025 - 42-24 (15-15 ACC), NCAA College World Series The Louisville offense was one of the best in the country in 2025, helping lead the Cardinals back to Omaha for the sixth time. The Cards ranked third nationally in hits, sixth in stolen bases and top 20 in doubles, triples and sacrifice flies. The 2025 Cardinals set the Louisville program record on the basepaths, swiping 162 on the season. Lucas Moore led the country with 53 stolen bases and finished second with 85 runs on his way to All-America honors. Introduced as an assistant on July 15, 2014, by Louisville head coach Dan McDonnell, Snider is a highly successful recruiter with an aggressive offensive philosophy. Prior to joining the Cardinals, Snider served 16 seasons on the coaching staff at Illinois, including the previous six years as associate head coach with the Fighting Illini. During Snider’s first 11 seasons in Louisville, the Cardinals have three College World Series appearances, five ACC Atlantic Division championships, six NCAA Super Regional berths, 24 All-American selections (including 14 hitters) and 61 players have been selected in the Major League Baseball Draft. Athletic Trainer
Josh Gruber joined the UofL Sports Medicine Department as a Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainer with Baseball/ M. Golf in July of 2021. He was elevated to an Assistant Athletic Trainer in May of 2022 and currently works with Baseball and Men's Golf. A 2019 graduate from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Athletic Training, Gruber earned a master's degree in Education Administration from University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2021. At Nebraska, he spent two years with Baseball and Men's Golf as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. As an undergrad student he gained experience working with UConn baseball and football. A native of Hillside, NJ, Gruber is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Eastern Athletic Training Association. He holds certifications in OnBaseU Pitching. In his free time Gruber enjoys hiking and traveling.

Rachel Overton, a former UofL student-athlete, is entering her tenth year at UofL and serves as Associate Director of Academic Services. She is responsible for overseeing academic support for the field hockey and baseball programs. Overton also serves as the Houston-Bridgeman Fellows Degree Completion Program Coordinator and Chapter Advisor to the Louisville chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the student-athlete honor society. Prior to working with the field hockey and baseball programs, Overton served as an Academic Counselor for football, and Assistant Director of Academic Services for rowing, men’s and women’s track and field, and men’s and women’s cross country. Overton joined the staff in August 2010 as a Graduate Assistant with Academic Services, providing academic support for the men's and women's track and field, women's basketball, and football programs. She is an active member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A). Overton completed the N4A Professional Development Institute Learning Specialist Track in 2013 and currently serves as a Mentor for the N4A Mentor/Mentee program. A member of the Women Leaders in College Sports organization, Overton attended the Women’s Leadership symposium in 2012 and completed the Institute for Administrative Advancement program.
