Throughout his time with the Cardinals, Martin has coached his athletes to one appearance at the Olympic Games, seven USTFCCCA All-America honors, seven NCAA Championships qualifications, six individual ACC titles, 11 All-ACC honors, and seven NCAA East Regional bids. 2025-26 Indoor In his third indoor season at Louisville, Martin led Kaia Tupu-South to a third-place finish in the women’s shot put at the ACC Indoor Championships. Martin also mentored Matt Giuliano to the three best marks in the men’s weight throw for a freshman in program history. 2024-25 Indoor In 2024-25, his second indoor season with the Cardinals, Martin helped Jayden Ulrich to another dominant indoor season that culminated in the senior being named the USTFCCCA Southeast Regional Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Year, be
