Brittany Morris

Biography

Brittany Morris was hired as an assistant coach at the University of Louisville in the summer of 2025 after spending the previous four seasons at NC State as an assistant coach. During her four years in Raleigh, the Wolfpack claimed three combined ACC regular season and tournament championships. In 2023, Morris helped the Wolfpack reach the Final Four for the first time in 25 years. In her first season in Raleigh, the Wolfpack won the regular season and tournament championship in the same year for the first time since 1984-85. Morris played a part in the development of guards Aziaha James, Saniya Rivers, Diamond Johnson and Zoe Brooks. Both Johnson and Rivers earned ACC Sixth Player of the Year awards during their careers. Rivers and James earned First Team All-ACC honors in 2023-24 while James earned a number of honorable mention All-American honors in 2024-25. The duo of Rivers and James were both selected in the first round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. Before going to NC State, she spent the 2020-21 season with East Carolina. Prior to her time at ECU, Morris was on the staff at UNCW for three seasons. She helped UNCW win 13 home games in 2018-19, which marked the most for the Seahawks since moving to Division I. Under Morris' tutelage, UNCW's Shrita Parker was named the USBWA National Player of the Week in January 2019 as well as being named Second-Team All-CAA following the 2018-19 campaign.
