Year 12 was the best yet for coach Hansen as she led the Golden Gophers to Four on the Floor for the first time in school history. Minnesota entered NCAA Regionals as the No. 13 overall seed before upsetting No. 5 Alabama and No. 12 Utah to make the program's seventh nationals appearance, including the fourth under Hansen. Minnesota headed to the national championships as the lowest remaining seed, but upset No. 4 UCLA and No. 9 Arkansas in the national semifinals to make the NCAA Championships, where they finished fourth. The Gophers finished with a program-record 30 wins (30-13, 7-2 B1G) and the best finish (fourth) in the history of Gopher gymnastics. Despite having to replace two assistant coaches from 2025, coach Hansen led Minnesota to a No. 4 final WCGA ranking. Minnesota was the lowest seed to ever make a Final Four. She led the Gophers to a Big 4 Championship in addition to top-15 victories over No. 4, No. 5 (2x), No. 9, No. 10 (2x), No. 11 and No. 12. The Gophers ended a program’s 49-year nationals streak by punching their ticket to nationals on April 5. Six Gophers were NCAA Championships All-Americans and Arianna Ostrum earned WCGA Second Team All-America honors on vault and all-around. Minnesota had three All-Big Ten selections. For the fourth time in Minnesota history, they had the Big Ten Freshman of th
