Biography

Alexa Brodie was promoted to assistant coach in July 2025 after joining the UNH women's basketball staff as the director of operations and assistant coach in July 2024. “I am really excited to announce the promotion of Alexa Brodie to assistant coach,” UNH head caoch Megan Shoniker said. “From the moment Brodie joined our staff, she had an immediate impact on our program. Not only did she oversee all of our operations, but she played an instrumental role in the development of our guards and the recruiting of our current roster. “She can connect and build meaningful relationships with players, and she can teach the game in a way that resonates with them,” Shoniker added. “Brodie’s passion, work ethic, and desire to be great is contagious. She is a rising star in this business, and we are lucky to have her.“ Brodie was a four-year captain and five-year letterwinner at Colgate University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in May 2024. The 5-foot-6 guard eclipsed 1,000 career points (1,056) and is No. 2 on the program’s all-time assist list with 354 – she was the team’s assist leader each of the past four seasons. Brodie is the Colgate record holder in both games played (125) and games started (123). The native of Chalfont, Pa. earned All-Patriot League Second Team and All-Patriot League Defensive Team as a senior last season, when she led the Raiders to 20 wins, their first postseason appearance in 20 years, first ever postseason win, and first W
