Prior to arriving at the University of South Florida, Jess earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Sport Management from Florida State University. While pursuing her graduate degree, she worked as an Educational Services Intern for the FSU Student-Athlete Academic Services unit working one-on-one with at-risk students and assisting in the facilitation of the Student Development & Leadership Strategies course. In addition, she also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the FSU Sport Management Department and an Academic Success Coach at Tallahassee Community College. Jess is a native of Boca Raton, Florida, and grew up doing gymnastics, track & field, and cheerleading. She is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and enjoys spending her free time working out, going to the beach, and attending sporting events.
