Cody Worsham

Biography

Cody Worsham serves as USC's Senior Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communications & Brand Advancement, leading the department's efforts in brand strategy, storytelling, creative content, and strategic communications for all 23 varsity programs. Since joining USC, he has played a pivotal role in bolstering the Trojans' brand during the transition to the Big Ten, helping drive a 62% increase in USC Athletics' social media value in 2024-25. Prior to USC, Worsham spent four years at LSU Athletics as Chief Brand Officer, where he led the department's creative, digital, and strategic communications efforts and worked on Heisman campaigns for Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow. He also served for six months as Interim Vice President of Marketing & Communication for LSU, overseeing all communication efforts for the flagship institution. A former award-winning sportswriter with lead editorial roles at Tiger Rag and DIG Magazine, Worsham is a 2011 graduate of LSU and continues to elevate the USC brand through innovative storytelling, data-driven strategy, and fan engagement.
