Aly Tetzloff

Biography

Aly Tetzloff joined coach Jonas Persson's staff prior to the start of the 2024-25 season after two seasons coaching at Florida Gulf Coast University. Tetzloff recently finished her second season at FGCU, where she helped the Eagles post a perfect 5-0 record in conference, then put together a performance at the ASUN Championships that saw them collect nine total medals. Tetzloff’s pupils reached the podium in every relay and one Eagle swimmer took gold in the 200 free and finished the competition with seven total medals, while the team took third. Tetzloff joined the staff at FGCU after a phenomenal career in the pool for the Auburn, achieving All-American status 14 times for the Tigers in in a variety of disciplines, including the 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly, 100 back, and all three free relays. She was also named All-SEC in 2017 and 2018 and was a three-time SEC Champion, winning the 100 back in as a senior in 2019 as well as the 400 free relay in back-to-back years in 2018 and 2019. Tetzloff has plenty of experience on the national level as well, having competed at both the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Trials, where she finished eighth in the 100 fly, as well as the Phillips 66 National Championships and the Toyota US Open. She has also competed professionally on the TYR Pro Swim Series as well as the International Swim League each of the past three reasons for the Tokyo Frog Kings in 2021 and the LA Current in 2020 and 2019.
