University of Vermont Field Hockey

Pfeifer enters her 13th season as head coach of the Vermont field hockey program in 2026. She was named the fourth head coach in program history on Jan. 16, 2014. With an 88-125 record at UVM, she is the all-time winningest head coach in UVM field hockey history. In 2024, she led the Catamounts to their first America East Championship and the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. After a 10-7 finish to the 2025 regular season, Vermont clinched the No. 1 seed and their first-ever share of a Regular Season title in program history. Pfeifer and her coaching staff were awarded America East Coaching Staff of the Year in 2025. Under her leadership, Vermont finished the 2025 season with 45 goals and 122 total points, hosted the America East Tournament for the first time in program history, and led the league in All-Conference selections with a league-best 2.24 goals allowed per game. In 2023, the Catamounts made back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time since 2007, recording eight wins with 44 goals and 127 points—the most under Pfeifer and ranking second in program history. In 2022, UVM won a program record 13 games and made its first playoff appearance since 2018. In 2021, Pfeifer led Vermont to its most successful season in over a decade with 10 wins—the most since 2007—and knocked off two ranked opponents.
