Career Highlights • 2021-22 Pac-12 Coach of the Year • Guided Washington to the 2022 Pac-12 Championship • Has led UW to five NCAA Regional appearances • Boasts 12 tournament titles as head coach of the Huskies • Has coached three All-Americans and 12 all-conference honorees at UW Alan Murray, who was named Washington's head men's golf coach on Aug. 10, 2016, is in his ninth year at the helm of the Husky program. He is the 10th head coach in the history of the Huskies' program. Since joining Washington prior to the 2016-17 season, Murray has helped Washington remain one of the best programs in college golf. Highlighting Murray's tenure leading the Husky program, Washington enjoyed one of its most successful seasons evern in 2021-22. The Huskies, playing as the host at Aldarra Golf Club in Sammamish, Washington, won the Pac-12 Championship, with senior Noah Woolsey also winning medalist honors, in dramatic fashion, as the individual title came down to the final hole. The 2021-22 season included a remarkable six team tournament titles, capped by the Pac-12 victory. Murray also coached transfer student RJ Manke, who spent much of the season as the nation's top-ranked college golfer, earning Pac-12 Golfer of the Year and first-team All-America. The Huskies also ahd three all-region selections and Murray himself was honored as Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
