Antanas Kavaliauskas joined the Wake Forest basketball staff in June 2020 as Director of Player Development after an extensive professional career in Europe, being elevated to assistant coach in the summer of 2023. Over the last five years, Kavaliauskas has been instrumental in helping Wake Forest: Earn 74 home victories, tied for seventh-most nationally and second-most in the ACC 104 overall victories, fifth-most in the ACC during that span 54 ACC regular season victories, fifth-most in the ACC during that span 13 ACC regular season victories in both 2021-22 and 2024-25, tied for the most in a single season in school history During the 2025-26 season, Kavaliauskas helped Wake Forest earn 18 victories include two in postseason play as Wake Forest earned a No. 1 seed in the NIT. Individually, Juke Harris was named ACC Most Improved Player, All-ACC second-team and NABC All-South Atlantic District first-team while Myles Colvin earned ACC Player of the Week and Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week honors. Braxton Zeigler, M.ED., LAT, ATC was announced as the head athletic trainer for Wake Forest men's basketball on July 24, 2025. Zeigler comes to Winston-Salem following three years at Georgia State University, where he worked as an athletic trainer for the Panthers' men's basketball and women's golf programs. During his time in Atlanta, Zeigler took on several duties, including acting as a coordinator of pre-participation physicals for all Georgia State student-athletes each semester, completing successful rehabilitation periods for various athletes, assisting the strength and conditioning staff with injury maintenance programs and operating The Athletic Trainer System (ATS). From February 2021 to May 2022, Zeigler served as an athletic trainer and insurance coordinator for Western Carolina University, working with the men's basketball team. In addition to his daily guidance with the Catamounts' teams, he oversaw medical insurance of all student-athletes and processed medical claims. Zeigler also worked as an adjunct professor to provide athletic training courses and a primary instructor of other health and fitness courses. Zeigler got his start in collegiate athletics as a graduate assistant in athletic training at Mercer University from June 2019 to January 2021. He primarily worked with indoor and beach volleyball while also handling secondary sport coverage with men's and women's basketball, women's track and men's and women's cross country. Jason Shay joined the Demon Deacons coaching staff on June 1, 2021. While helping student-athletes achieve their goals on and off the floor, Jason Shay is a veteran coach that has been a part of one Elite Eight appearance, three Sweet 16 runs, 10 NCAA Tournaments and five conference championships in his 22 years as a collegiate coach. Head coach Steve Forbes and Shay spent 12 seasons working together at East Tennessee State (2015-2020), Northwest Florida State College (2011-13) and Tennessee (2006-11) where the duo led those institutions to an astounding 315-101 overall record, which was an average of 26 wins per season. Mike Starke joined the Wake Forest basketball staff in May 2020 after serving in a similar role at East Tennessee State. Starke oversees all the strength and conditioning efforts related to the men’s basketball program including strength and physical development, conditioning, nutrition and recovery needs. Starke’s efforts in the weight room and beyond helped build the program back to a top 50 program in college basketball, finishing at 42 in the NET rankings for the 2021-2022 season. In his second season at Wake Forest, the Demon Deacons finished with 25 wins, the most since the 2004-05 season, and 18 home wins, the most in program history. Starke prepared multiple individual players to have personal-best seasons in multiple areas. This past 2023-24 season saw him coach All-ACC first teamer Hunter Sallis, who had a breakout year, and first with the Deacs, to up his numbers to a team-best 18.0 points per game while shooting 48.7 percent fro the field, 40.5 percent from three-point territory and 78.3 percent from the free-throw line. Stephen Czarda joined Wake Forest in November of 2019 as the department's Social Media Manager and currently serves in the role of Assistant Athletics Director, Communications & Content. He oversees social media content production and analytics for the department–both on the main accounts and individual sport accounts–and supervises the Wake Forest Athletic Communications unit. From 2019-25 Czarda was the primary media contact for Wake Forest's nationally-ranked men's soccer program and serves in the same role for Wake Forest men's basketball. Under his leadership, Wake Forest Athletics accounts have combined to earn 775 million impressions, 142 million video views, 47 million engagements and gained more than 440,000 new followers since November 2019. Since taking on primary communications responsibilities for men's soccer in August 2020, the team's Instagram account has grown 127.2 percent and ranks No. 4 nationally in total followers. Czarda came to Wake Forest from UNCG, where he served as the Assistant Athletic Director of Strategic Communications from 2018-19. He previously was with the Washington Commanders from 2013-18 serving in four different roles including Managing Editor. A native of Orlean, Va., Czarda graduated from George Mason in 2013 with a Bachelor's in Sport Management. He earned his Master's in Sport And Recreation Studies from George Mason in 2015.

Wake Forest Athletics announced on Aug. 21, 2025 that Steve Weinman, a seasoned NBA front office executive with over a decade of experience in data strategy, scouting and performance analysis, has been appointed as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Analytics. In this role, Weinman will also serve as General Manager for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs, providing direct strategic and operational support for Coach Steve Forbes and Coach Megan Gebbia. Weinman comes to Wake Forest’s staff following a distinguished 13-year tenure with the Chicago Bulls, most recently serving as Vice President of Basketball Strategy and Analytics and Assistant General Manager. In his role as GM of Wake Forest’s basketball programs, Weinman will collaborate closely with the head coaches of each program on roster construction including recruiting strategy, transfer portal evaluation, resource allocation and planning. He will also work directly with basketball student-athlete agent representatives. As part of Wake Forest’s forward-thinking vision for athletics analytics, Weinman will serve as an Executive Affiliate with the Wake Forest School of Business, building and managing a formal partnership with the shared goal of developing a sports analytics concentration within the Master’s in Business Analytics (MSBA) program. This collaboration—an unprecedented integration of academic and athletics leadership—will include hands-on learning opportunities for MSBA students through embedde

Tyler Shore came to Wake Forest in February of 2020 as an Assistant Director of Equipment Services. Upon arrival, Shore handled all equipment services for the Demon Deacons' women's soccer, volleyball and track and field/cross country programs. As of 2023, Shore is the primary equipment manager for Wake Forest men's basketball, men's and women's golf and women's soccer. Shore is also a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. Shore came to Wake Forest from Elon, where he served as an Assistant Equipment Manager. While in college at Western Carolina, he was a student manager for the football team. A native of Durham, N.C., Shore graduated from Western Carolina in 2008 with a degree in Sport Management. Shore resides in Winston-Salem.
