Christian End

Biography

Christian End, Ph.D., was named as Xavier's second Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) in April of 2016. End, a Xavier University associate professor trained in social psychology, is often quoted for his expertise in fan behavior. He has published over 25 research reports mostly related to social identity theory, self-presentation tactics, and gender differences within the sport fan context. In 2013, the Southeastern Psychological Association named Dr. End Mentor of the Year and Cincinnati Magazine recognized him as being one of Cincinnati's "Outstanding Educators". End earned his undergraduate degree from Xavier in 1996 and his Ph.D. from Miami University in 2002.
